About
Amy Williams is a poet, spoken word artist and mum who combines all of these things to deliver works with honesty, warmth and humour. Amy’s following increased drastically overnight after sharing her viral poem, 6 to 8 weeks. This poem alone amassed over 1.5 million views across various social media platforms.

When she is not performing bedtime gymnastics to attend spoken word nights, she’s being stopped as she rushes from said nights to be told, “wow mum poetry, what a cool niche!”
As well as being very cool, Amy is an advocate for spaces that allow spoken word and the arts to be more readily accessible for those who may not be able to attend what has been accepted to be the norm - and those who may also be awake before sunrise.
You can find her work being shared by perinatal mental health charities such as PANDAs and featured on BBC Sounds.
